Last Week's Trivia Results

ANSWER: Regulation basketball hoops used throughout America have a standard height of 10 feet from the ground. That is the official height of hoops for all players aged 12 or older, meaning players ranging from school children to NBA superstars use a 10 feet high hoop. This has been the standard height of basketball hoops since the game’s inventor, James Naismith, set up the first hoop by hanging a basket on top of the railings around a running track in 1891.
